Our current Reporter is quite a special bag of fun and exclusivity. Our typically generous frame triangle gives the bike a swift elasticity. A remarkably narrow wheelbase lends the Reporter its lovely nervousness. This is sporty in a classically elegant form. Compared to the Ingegnere, the short wheelbase Reporter has a tougher and more compact handling. The ideal ‘’stop-and-go’’ for rapid maneuvering in the urban jungle.
The name ‘Reporter’ by the way is reference to Michelangelo Antonioni’s wonderful movie “Professione Reporter” (1975) with Jack Nicholson in the leading role.

Equipped with some very unusual components, which are exclusively produced for us, or from which we have bought the whole remaining production, the Reporter is a very fine piece of bicycle history.
Dia Compe racing stem. Dedacciai seatpost, Ambrosio hollow chamber rims, caliper brakes Campagnolo Veloce NOS (BELLA CIAO exclusive), saddle San Marco Concor Supercorsa in perforated leather (limited re-edition exclusively for BELLA CIAO)…

Add to this the carefully handcrafted frame from the elegant and versatile Dedacciai tubeset – and you have… – voilà – the REPORTER.

Gearing options:

REPORTER – Single speed

As a single speed bicycle the REPORTER has a gear ratio of 50 x 18. making it an ideal machine for city and subtle undulating routes.

REPORTER – Shimano Alfine 8-speed or 11-speed

If you prefer a wider range of gearing options, the Shimano Alfine is a highly reliable and beautifully made Japanese gear option.
Premium quality, versatility, and effortless operation define the Alfine. The clean look and wide-range gearing of the internal hub lets you travel in style and comfort.
